Excellence Without Excess

The goal: to create a crossover that would perform without punishing owners at the pump. The result: equipped with the standard 182 hp ECOTEC 2.4L four-cylinder engine, Terrain drivers enjoy more power and better fuel efficiency than Ford Escape, Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4.** A sophisticated six-speed automatic transmission is standard and the ECOTEC 2.4L engine includes an ECO mode that boosts efficiency when it's selected by the driver.

What's On Today's Agenda?

Do your plans include a trip to the mall? Tackling a renovation project? Maybe packing up for a weekend at the lake? In a world of ever-changing needs, Terrain is designed to adapt to the challenge at hand. With the Multi-FlexTM rear seat adjusted forward, there's almost 900 litres of space in the cargo bay. That more than doubles if you fold the 60/40 split-folding rear seat. And a low 735 mm liftover height makes loading and unloading any kind of cargo a simple matter.

Advanced Design, Beautifully Crafted

On the road, Terrain spoils its occupants with impressive comfort and very low levels of noise and vibration. The cabin is trimmed in fine materials - including, if you wish, perforated leather-appointed seating surfaces -accented with contrasting stitching. There's adjustable lumbar support for the driver's seat and premium comfort for your rear passengers as well, thanks to a Multi-Flex second-row seat that adjusts backwards and forwards by 200 mm (7.9 inches).

2010 GMC Terrain

Simply Brilliant

Clearly influenced by the world of modern design, Terrain puts drivers at ease with warm ambient lighting, excellent visibility, and controls designed and positioned in accordance with ergonomic principles. Advanced systems - including a standard Rearview Camera System, OnStar® and available Bluetooth® mobile phone connectivity - put up-to-the-second high-tech functionality at your fingertips. The result is a fresh, attractive driver interface that encourages a high level of confidence and control.

**2010 FWD Terrain ratings with standard 4-cylinder engine based on GM Testing in accordance with approved Transport Canada test methods. Based on Natural Resources Canada's 2009 Fuel Consumption Guide Ratings for 2009 GM Compact SUV-Crossover segment and published information available at time of posting.
